Product Description:

Biotin-16-dUTP는 자연 기질인 dTTP를 대체하여 DNA 또는 cDNA에 효소적으로 도입되는 뉴클레오타이드로, Biotin-labeled DNA/cDNA probe 제작에 사용됩니다. 이렇게 표지된 프로브는 이후 streptavidin-HRP, alkaline phosphatase(AP), 형광염료 또는 agarose/magnetic beads와 결합된 시스템을 통해 검출됩니다. 또한, uridine의 C5 위치에 결합된 16-atom linker는 우수한 기질 특성을 제공하여 높은 labeling efficiency와 Biotin 신호의 효과적인 검출을 가능하게 합니다.

PCR 및 Nick Translation에서 권장되는 Biotin-16-dUTP와 dTTP의 비율은 50:50이며, 이는 안정적인 도입 효율과 검출 성능을 제공합니다. 다만, 최적의 Biotin-16-dUTP 농도는 실험 목적과 조건에 따라 달라질 수 있으므로, 높은 수율과 도입 효율을 위해 Biotin-16-dUTP/dTTP 비율에 대한 개별 최적화가 권장됩니다.
